Alumni Elections

The SCTTAA Annual Alumni Officer Elections are held in August. All current Alumni Members are encouraged to participate and be a part of the decision making process. Below are details on available Officer and Committee positions. To become a nominee - Contact the Alumni or attend at the next SCTTAA Alumni business meeting.

SCTTAA OFFICERS AND DUTIES

PRESIDENT: The President is to preside at all alumni meetings and appoint and oversee all committees and activities of the SCTTAA as necessary.

VICE-PRESIDENT: The Vice-President is to perform the President’s duties when he/she is unable to do so. This person is to oversee all social activities undertaken by the SCTTAA.

SECRETARY: the Secretary records the Minutes of all alumni meetings and take care of necessary correspondence.

TREASURER: The Treasurer is to supervise all financial matters of the SCTTAA and maintains financial records.

*Officer Requirements: Minimum of 6 months of sobriety.

SCTTAA SPECIAL COMMITTEES AND DUTIES

NEWSLETTER: The Newsletter Editor is to see to the publication of a bi-monthly newsletter (Photographer).

MEMBERSHIPS: The Membership Committee shall inform Twin Town Treatment Center clients of the SCTTAA activities and keep membership rolls current.

ACTIVITIES: The Activities Committee plan and coordinate monthly sober activities for members of SCTTAA and TT clients. Opportunities for chairperson(s), committee members and set-up crew.

FUNDRAISER: The Fundraiser Committee shall plan, delegate and coordinate all activities for the purpose of raising money in support of the SCTTAA and its goals.

*Committee Requirement: No requirement to serve on a committee.
